Unlike cables, hydraulics can
push and pull. This enables the structure
of a hydraulic lift to hide below the boat, instead
of above, or to the side like that of a cable
lift. Besides the obvious aesthetic advantages,
this allows the boat to be positioned with far
less of a gap between the boat and dock.
There are good reasons why the Sunstream SunLift
is the only lift with a 3-year hydraulic warranty,
even in salt water. Our stainless
steel shaft prevents rusting, pitting
and seal damage and the bronze shaft scraper
prevents damage to the hydraulic seals.
The rubber shaft boot prevents
marine life from growing on the cylinder shaft
and a scrubber removes mineral
deposits from the shaft, especially important
for “hard-water” lakes. Sunstream's
environmentally-friendly, water-soluble
hydraulic fluid will not harm the environment
or stain your dock.
-
Hydraulic lifts lift
in seconds instead of minutes, virtually eliminating
wait time, and providing an additional safety
measure while removing your boat from the waves.
The hydraulics reduce the noise on the water and
will be appreciated by your neighbors as you return
from a late night cruise.
-
Snapping cables can not only
sink your boat, but can be deadly.
Sunstream’s hydraulic lifts operate below
the boat and use an added security measure, the
over-center GravityLock™ system. The over-center
GravityLock™ design locks the boat in the
up position, giving you peace of mind.
